This project threw me for a loop. I had a hard time breaking out of the thought process that words needed to be read. Text is text, unless you make it not...text?
So, in order to make them non text, i rotated, cut, and all around de-text-ured (get it).
and here we have them
cut into strips and revolved around a point, using the text-rivers to make lines that also revolve. and to top the whole thing off, "REVOLVE" cut into individual letters and...you guessed it, revolved around the center. Harmoniously named...Revolve. Weird.
Here, large print words cut in half and upside down. Gradient-ing upwards into smaller words. This one contrasted with the words "Top heavy"
On a side note, I believe paying to have things matted is tooootttallly worth it.
